Then the trouble started.
In the early hours of June 1st, when we should have been sleeping on our first night in the new place, we were riding in an ambulance--myself in the front, husband in the back--with the sirens blaring and the lights flashing. The emergency doctor admitted him to hospital with a pulse rate of 200 and atrial fibrillation. Numerous tests later, a cardiologist diagnosed him with an enlarged atrium, caused by a leaky mitral valve, and is still in a state of a-fib.
Two weeks later, while his body was still trying to adjust to the cocktail of drugs they've given him, his boss decided to let him go. Lack of communication is the reason they gave, although every single day but one he called in to work to let them know what was going on. On the day he didn't call, he was under the influence of a sleeping pill and overslept. Unfortunately, since he was still under probation, there's not a lot we can do.
So, writing has been at a minimum this month and my Write Motivation goals went out the window. I've tried to keep up with the posts when I can, but it's been hit and miss, I have to admit.
Maybe next month will be better? I can't promise, but I'll try.
I've also decided to try out Weebly, so my Wordpress blog will be closing. So, another new home. At least I didn't have any packing to do with this move.
